Welcome to Umatilla High School

Umatilla on the RISE!

Umatilla High School is a 3A school and we have approximately 370 students, 19 teachers and licensed members and 9 classified staff members.

We have a dedicated and highly qualified staff that provides our students with a complete curriculum. Beyond the required courses we provide students the opportunity to experience classes in computer technology, woods, metals, CADD, robotics, advanced science and math classes, foreign language and more. Our students are highly involved in athletics and extra-curricular clubs.

Over the past five years our students' success and growth on district and state level tests has risen significantly. For the 2010-2011 school year, >UHS met AYP for the first time! AYP, Adequate Yearly Progress, is a measurement defined by the federal government that allows the U.S. Department of Education to determine how schools are performing academically. At a time when benchmarks have been raised, our students stepped up and performed. This again is a testament to the quality and effort of our kids and staff.

We are proud of our community and are very thankful for their support!
